Born September 28, 1972 in Bautzen, since 1989 in Berlin
Freelance work as a photographer, lecturer and curator
2015 founding the photo book store and gallery picture book Berlin with the photographer Joe Dilworth
2018 founding the publishing house and agency for photography Buchkunst Berlin together with the photographer and designer Ana Druga
Thomas Gust has meanwhile given lectures on various topics of photography and the photo book and taught in workshops at many national and international colleges and universities

Thomas Gust
In my lectures I convey the connection between photographic positions and the respective social structures. In my photo book course, I develop photo books with students from their image material into the form of a unique photo book, which independently and consistently reflect and expand their work.
