Sibylle Fendt
In my personal photographic work, I focus on the human portrait. My interest in taking pictures stems from documentary photography.
However, I have always been attracted by photographic approaches where genre is no longer clearly definable; mixed between staging and documentation, reality and fiction.
For me the attitude is more crucial than how something is done. And this attitude should be developed and clarified in a photographic work.
Basically I want to teach the students to develop a euphoria and love for photography while maintaining a realistic view of their own work and their professional future.
